After consultantion with the community, as of the 31st July 2009, all current documents will be transitioned to the CC-BY-SA 3.0 license, under Section 11 of the GFDL, and any future content moving forward will alsol be licensed under the CC-BY-SA 3.0.

The CC-BY-SA 3.0 license states that you are free to share and remix the content, as long as the author is attibuted and any redistribution of the work is under the same or similar contract.

The CC-BY-SA license is a kind of copyleft, which means that derivative works of the document must themselves be free in the same sense.
